This is my Ode to the beautiful island that is Ireland for she has giving me all that I value most in life, Ireland is an island with many faces and a deep history steeped in legend and folklore with more stories than you can shake a stick at. The people of this island have always been a strong proud people that respected this land and the waters on it and around it, they understood back then what is all but lost in the dizzying frenzy of modern life that has taken hold of this island. The people of ancient Ireland like all peoples of the past understood that balance and harmony with nature is vital for the well being of all that dwell on this land.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.”

I do hope that proverb is wrong.

The spirit of the Irish people is rising out of the darkness that has been upon this land for too long, the people, the land, the forests and the wildlife of this island need us all to unite in one voice and goal to rebuild what was lost here. So stick on the kettle, make some tea, kick with some goods music and enjoy your time here. For out of the darkness light always shines.

Peace be with you and yours
